About Wildy Dots

By profession, I was a banker with 25 years of experience worked for few local banks and for the Barclays Bank Middle East & Africa as a Assistant Vice President. Post exiting the banking career, I founded an IT company in Singapore & currently holding the positions of the Managing Director of Serendib International Cricket Academy & the Commercial Director of Earrow Pvt LTD a software provider.

Being very much close to the nature from my childhood, Wildlife has been my hobby for more than two decades. However, post return to Sri Lanka in 2014, I started adding photography to pursue my hobby a further step. Since then once or twice every month, I used to travel to various National Parks in Sri Lanka, enjoying the beauties of the wilderness & capturing many unique moments of nature. For the past half a decade, Wilpattu National Park located in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka has been my second home, where I used to spend more than 5-6 days every month.

After seven long years, with hard but memorable efforts, having more than 20,000 clicks, I decided to share the best of my photos with the public by bring the dream of my life into reality, introducing “Wildy Dots” Wildlife Photography Gallery. With same, my intention is to share the glimpse of the enormous natural beauty of this extraordinary island with the rest of the world.

Further, I have decided to allocate 5% of the profits of each photo sale towards the “Save Elephants Fund” to strengthen the people, who are getting affected by the elephant confrontations in Sri Lanka.
